After completing Plagues and Federation, I believe that it is a great book and really gives year six a great understanding of life before Federation and helps us make connections to our history topics in class. It helps visualise life before federation in a more interesting way. Although, the book only focuses on one characters perspective. I would find it interesting to know what other people that are older and have achieved more things back then, thought of life before federation.
Samurai Kids Samurai Kids is a very intriguing and interesting book. This book is written for 11-13 year old audiences and has a lot of twists and turns along the way. Samurai Kids is about kids who want to be samurais but no ryu will accept them due to their disabilities. The main character; Niya has no leg and the children have disabilities such as blindness, extra fingers and toes and one child has no arms.
